Oh I'm sure someone's talked about this all at some point before but please humor me here; my fiance is certain that in the theatrical release of the Disney film "Peter Pan", there was a scene when Peter asks the audience to clap in order to save the dyingTinkerbell. She can't understand why this scene has been omitted from the dvd and video release of the film. My response to her, very gently put - she is my fiance after all - is that maybe because it never was in the movie, only in the stage production. At this point, I would be equally happy for her to be right as not, just so we can move on to more important topics like ... I dunno... our wedding? Any thoughts?

Re: Clapping for Tinkerbell
Sun, June 4, 2006 - 7:37 AMYou are correct. That very famous scene from Barrie's stage play was left out of the movie altogether.
